  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 piece fresh orange peel (2-by-1-inch)

I shouldn't give away my secret but....I went to paper source tonight and I got the best idea. They have pre-cut mittens. I got white mittens, red oval stickers on which I can write out the text. Add a red/white plaid ribbon trim to the cuff and a real button. Then, use a thin red ribbon to connect the 2 mittens -- and tie the whole thing around the bottle! It's absolutely adorable.

I found the cosmo recipe tag, but I cannot find the template for the label on the bottle that says "cranberry orange vodka." Where can I find this!? And if there is not one, does anyone have any ideas for what to do instead?

I made this as a gift for my brother's birthday. It was very simple and came out well. My brother and his friends loved making drinks with this.

Crimson, mine did not have anything white floating in it. Did all of your sugar dissolve?

mine came out with little bits of white stuff in it. is it the inside of the cranberries? should i strain it out after two days and replace it with uncooked cranberries and orange peel?
is it fine the way it is? can they drink the white stuff? HELP

Instead of the glass jar, I (very carefully) poured the concoction into 0.5L tightly sealing glass limoncello bottles... not only are they more attractive, but they can be placed in the freezer so that the drink can be served as a very icy sipping liqueur. I am giving them as gifts along with a small set of 3oz shot glasses. Very inexpensive, but a complete gift with a great presentation.

Does anyone know how long the cranberry and orange vodka can be kept and should it be refrigerated after a few days?. I don't want to make it too soon if it has a short shelf life. I would think because of the alcohol it would be OK, but I'm not sure.

On the show Martha says there is a cosmo recipe template that can be found on Martha.com that can be used for giving the cosmo mix as a gift. Where can that template be found?
