This dip, unfortunately, is quite bland. I used the best possible hot pepper relish and even tried using salsa verde, both with equal results. I tried to liven it up with some hot sauce, which added some slight interest, though not enough to save it. The most telling commentary is my daughter took this dip to a party and most of it came back. I think I will stick to my caramelized onion dip and roasted tomato dip from Barefoot Contessa.
