I think this recipe is lacking some instructions. For instance, approximately how long does it take to cook a rutabaga to be tender enough to mash? It took me 40 minutes, but that was after I tested it at 15, 20, 30 minutes. The recipe was tasty and I'll definitely make it again.

Ingredients
Ingredients
- Peeled rutabaga
- Peeled, cored sweet apple (such as Gala)
- Butter
- Cream
- Salt and pepper
Directions
Cut rutabaga and apple into 1-inch pieces. Cover with water; boil until tender. Drain, then mash with butter and cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.
