Martha Stewart Member Rating: 3 stars 08/06/2018 the method for this was perfect, but like another reviewer said, without some additions it would be pretty bland. so i added some garlic paste (about 1tsp) at the tail end of making the roux. i also added a couple dashes of worcestershire and fish sauce and omitted the salt.

Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 03/26/2009 this is absolutely one of my favorite Everyday Food recipes. use an extra sharp cheddar or add some blue cheese crumbles for more zing. i also add a pinch of cayenne. otherwise it tastes a little bland. it also stores well (in an air-tight container) for a couple of days.
