total: 5 mins

Yield: Makes 1 cup

Ingredients

Ingredient Checklist

1 cup boiling water

1 bag green tea

1 (1-inch piece) fresh turmeric, peeled and thinly sliced (or 1/4 teaspoon ground)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

1 tablespoon apple-cider vinegar

      Cook's Notes

Fresh turmeric has the highest nutritional payoff, but ground and cold-pressed pack a punch, too. Aim for two teaspoons a day to feel the effects.
